About us
Community safety is one of the top priorities for people living in East Sussex. The main aim of the East Sussex Safer Communities Partnership is to make our county a safer place to live.
We will do this by:
- protecting vulnerable people
- identifying those at risk of harm
- keeping our communities safe
We work to improve safety by sharing information and taking joint action. Our focus is on the issues residents are most concerned about, including:
- domestic abuse and sexual violence
- modern slavery, human trafficking and adult exploitation
- drug and alcohol misuse
- preventing violent extremism and radicalisation
- preventing and reducing serious violence
- reducing anti-social behaviour, hate crime and fraud
